Dearborn, MI (August, 2007) – PCGCampbell, the tenth largest privately held PR firm (PR Weekly July 2007 Ratings), has been named to the 2007 list of "Cool Places to Work" in Michigan in a competition jointly held by Crain's Detroit Business and the Grand Rapids Business Journal. The competition began last year.
Selection was based both on employee nominations and on numerical scores on a survey created by Southfield-based American Society of Employers, a membership organization that collects workplace data and offers diverse business training.Over 300 companies were nominated in 2007 and 60 were chosen based on points from individual survey questions and scores in eight categories.
The selected 60 companies have "created work environments that attract and retain quality workers," Crain's Publisher Mary Kramer said in 2006. "It's very clear that employees prize a workplace that recognizes a balance between 'work' and 'life,' as well as one that offers training and opportunities to advance."
PCGCampbell is an integrated marketing agency with an emphasis in public/media relations, advertising, event management and brand development with offices in Torrance, Calif., and Dearborn, Mich.
